Smoky Day in Leipzig: 30 March - 1 April 2026

The Leibniz ScienceCampus BioSmoke (‘Smoke and Bioaerosols in a changing climate’) invites to a scientific workshop about the various processes and impacts of smoke and related aerosol particles on atmosphere and biosphere that will be held from 30 March to 1 April 2026 at the Institute for Meteorology of the Leipzig University. If your current research touches these topics or if you want to get an overview of the activities of the LSC BioSmoke, please consider a registration for the Smoky Day 2026 (see below). Further contributions from related fields such as fire ecology, fire modelling, vegetation recovery, or health effects of smoke are also highly welcome.

What to expect:
